Difference between G and PF

The parallel pipe thread G and PF share the same thread form profile as the picture above. The symbol of the threads has been changed from “PF” to “G”. The difference is the class of fit. The “B” class internal threads defined in “PF” Standard were obsoleted for the “G” Standard.
